The National Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP) has reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration and professional unity following a courtesy visit to the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), during which an invitation was extended to host the forthcoming NAIP CEOs’ Forum.
In a strategic move to strengthen engagement within Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector, the National Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP), a Technical Group of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), paid a courtesy visit to the President of PSN at the Society’s Secretariat on Wednesday, 21 January 2026.
The visit provided an opportunity for the newly elected NAIP National Executive Committee to formally interface with the leadership of the Society, while also reinforcing the long-standing relationship between PSN and its Technical Groups.
PSN President Commends New NAIP Leadership
During the meeting, the PSN President congratulated the newly elected NAIP National Executive Committee on their successful emergence and early achievements in office. He expressed pride in the leadership of the Bankole Ezebuilo-led administration, noting its clear commitment to excellence, professionalism, and progress in advancing industrial pharmacy practice in Nigeria.
The President offered prayers and goodwill for a successful and impactful tenure, expressing confidence in NAIP’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the pharmaceutical industry and national healthcare development.
Invitation to Host NAIP CEOs’ Forum
In their response, members of the NAIP National Executive Committee expressed sincere appreciation for the PSN President’s leadership, guidance, and consistent support for Technical Groups within the Society. They emphasized the importance of sustained institutional backing in driving innovation and cohesion across the pharmacy profession.
A key highlight of the visit was the formal invitation extended to the PSN President to serve as the Host of the NAIP CEOs’ Forum, scheduled to hold on 4 February 2026. The Forum is expected to bring together chief executives and senior leaders within Nigeria’s pharmaceutical manufacturing and industrial pharmacy space for high-level discussions and strategic engagement.
Strengthening Collaboration for National Development
Beyond ceremonial exchanges, the visit featured constructive discussions on potential areas of collaboration between NAIP and the PSN leadership.
