The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has strengthened its call for closer collaboration with indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturers following a courtesy visit to Fidson Healthcare Plc in Lagos.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) paid a courtesy visit to Fidson Healthcare Plc on 22 January 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration between professional bodies and local pharmaceutical manufacturers in Nigeria.
The PSN delegation arrived at the company’s corporate office at noon and was warmly received by the management team of Fidson Healthcare Plc. The visit reflects PSN’s broader strategy of engaging key industry stakeholders to strengthen pharmaceutical practice and improve healthcare delivery across the country.
Strengthening Professional–Industry Partnerships
Delivering the opening remarks, the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, expressed appreciation to the Board and Management of Fidson Healthcare Plc for the warm reception. He reaffirmed the Society’s commitment to strategic partnerships that promote innovation, local capacity development, and access to quality medicines for Nigerians.
The PSN delegation was formally introduced by Pharm. Gafar Madehine, after which the purpose of the courtesy visit was outlined, with emphasis on shared goals of collaboration, sustainability, and growth within Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector.
