The Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), Bayero University Kano, has named its 8th Annual Health Week in honour of the Director General of the Kano State Drug and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA), Pharm. Ghali Sule, following a strategic courtesy visit that further strengthened collaboration ahead of the Association's historic 10th Anniversary Celebration.
In a significant move towards hosting its 8th Annual Health Week and commemorating a decade of excellence, the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), Bayero University Kano (BUK), has announced that this year's Health Week will be held in honour of the Director General of the Kano State Drug and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA), Pharm. Ghali Sule.
The announcement came during a courtesy visit by the Executive Council of PANS-BUK, led by its President, Comrade Umar Nasir Huzaifa, to the Director General's office. The visit formed part of the Association's ongoing stakeholder engagement aimed at building strategic partnerships for the successful hosting of its flagship events.
Strengthening Partnerships for a Historic Celebration
During the meeting, the student leaders formally introduced their administration and presented a comprehensive roadmap outlining their vision for advancing academic excellence, professional development, leadership, and public health advocacy within the Association.
A major highlight of the engagement was the presentation of plans for the forthcoming 8th Annual Health Week and the historic 10th Anniversary Celebration of PANS-BUK. In recognition of Pharm. Ghali Sule's outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical practice and healthcare delivery in Kano State, the Association officially invited him to have the Health Week and anniversary celebration held in his honour while also requesting that he serve as the Patron of PANS-BUK.
The Director General graciously accepted the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Association within his capacity, a development that the student leadership described as a major milestone in preparations for the landmark celebration.

Speaking during the visit, Pharm.
