As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and student connection, we proudly unveil your newly elected PANS-BUK Executive Council. This initiative aims to foster familiarity, ease of communication, and stronger collaboration between the leaders and the led.
Here’s a brief spotlight on the faces and minds leading the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students, Bayero University Kano Chapter, for the 2024/2025 academic session:
1. Adamu Sulaiman Adamu - PRESIDENT
At the helm of this administration is a leader with vision and intent. President ASA, as he is fondly called, promises a purpose driven tenure, with a keen focus on student welfare, academic excellence, professional development, and unity. His leadership will be defined by impactful programs, strategic collaborations, and a firm dedication to results that uplift every PANSite.
2. Nafisat Oniboki - VICE PRESIDENT
A dependable right hand to the President, VP Nafisat brings balance, coordination, and support to the team. With her calm demeanor and poised presence, PANSites can expect an active vice presidency that reinforces leadership synergy, ensures smooth internal relations, and champions key student concerns.
3. Murtala Saleh Ayuba - SECRETARY GENERAL
Efficient, principled, and responsive, Murtala Saleh Ayuba popularly known as the Pharmaceutical Commander, is set to redefine the PANS-BUK Secretariat. He’s committed to transparent communication, inclusive congresses, accurate documentation, and a system that listens and responds to the needs of every student.
4. Ra’aya Shittu - ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL
Every great secretary needs a steady support and Ra’aya steps up with readiness. Expect him to assist in keeping records tight, logistics coordinated, and communication flowing. Ensuring no detail goes unnoticed in the day to day running of the association.
5. Umar Nasir Huzaifa - FINANCIAL SECRETARY
With an eye for detail and hands on the purse, Umar is dedicated to maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing dues and levies, and ensuring accountability in all monetary affairs of the association.
6. Zaid Mustapha Lawan - TREASURER
Honesty meets diligence in Zaid Mustapha Lawan. As Treasurer, he pledges to manage the association’s funds with transparency, prudence, and reliability. Ensuring that every naira is accounted for and spent wisely.
7. Ismail Hamza (Berppa) - PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER I
If it’s happening in PANS-BUK, you’ll hear it first from Berppa. Expect timely updates, crystal clear information, and powerful publicity campaigns. His goal is to keep you informed, connected and actively engaged with everything PANS.
8. Mukhtar Hassan Badamasi - PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER II
Working hand in hand with the PRO I, Milkyson as he is fondly called, ensures that the PANS voice is loud and clear. From event coverage to social media visibility, he is on board to amplify student engagements and drive communication across platforms.
9. Abdussamad Abdulfatah - EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Where words meet vision, you’ll find Abdussamad AKA Vital Solutions.
Already driving impressive daily publications. Expect more powerful, consistent publications that resonate with PANS-BUK values and serve as a platform where student voices are not just heard, but highlighted.
10. Umar Sabiu Sulaiman (Naphader) - WELFARE DIRECTOR
The comfort of every PANSite is a top priority. From hospitality at events to student support services, health advocacy, and emergency care, Naphader is here to ensure no student is left behind. In care or in comfort.
11. Aliyu Musa Idris (Alligee) - DIRECTOR OF SOCIALS
There’s more to pharmacy than stress and Alligee is here to prove it. With plans for vibrant social events and stress relieving activities, he aims to inject balance, bonding, and fun into the lives of every PANSite.
12. Asad Yelwa - DIRECTOR OF SPORTS
From pitch to court, track to gym, Asad is bringing athletic spirit back to campus. PANSites should expect revitalized sporting events, intra & inter-faculty contests, and more platforms to showcase both strength and strategy.
13. Makkiyyu Ibrahim Sanka - ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
With excellence in focus, Makkiyyu Ibrahim Sanka takes charge of academic support and mentorship. Be it tutorials, study guides, or exam prep initiatives, he’s geared to help every PANSite navigate the academic journey with confidence.
14. Bello Adam Abdullahi - SALES DIRECTOR
Behind every branded item and merchandise stands the smooth operations of Bello. Expect well managed sales, timely distribution of materials, and creative fundraising strategies that benefit the entire association.

Dawud Ocheni is a 200 Level student of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bayero University Kano.
A dedicated member of the PANS-BUK Editorial Team, he serves as a content writer and also sits as a Senator in the Pharmacy Parliament. He is also a member of the 200 Level Academic Committee.
Driven by a passion for innovation, creativity and social impact, Dawud is an active member of ENACTUS BUK, a student community of innovators and social entrepreneurs. He recently represented the university at the 2025 ENACTUS Nigeria National Competition in Lagos where he and his team presented their innovative projects before a National audience.
