The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to data-driven healthcare collaborations following a courtesy visit by an IQVIA delegation led by Pharm. Isiuwa Onayiga.


Pharm. Isiuwa Onayiga led a delegation from IQVIA on a courtesy visit to the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) on Wednesday, 5th February 2026.

The delegation, which included Dr. Onimisi Peter and Pharm. Yusuf Sultan, was received by the President of the PSN. The visit was aimed at formally introducing IQVIA and highlighting the organisation’s role in shaping healthcare policy through healthcare data management, analytics, and evidence-based decision-making.

During the meeting, Pharm. Onayiga and her team outlined IQVIA’s role in supporting life science companies, professional bodies, government agencies, and health institutions with high-quality data and strategic insights that strengthen healthcare systems and inform effective policy formulation.

The PSN President stated that he was already familiar with IQVIA, noting that several of his former colleagues had previously worked with the organisation.

He expressed strong appreciation for IQVIA’s contributions to healthcare data generation and policy development, commending the delegation for their professionalism and the impact of their work.

The President further reaffirmed PSN’s openness to partnerships and collaborations that will enhance data-driven healthcare planning and promote sustainable development within Nigeria’s health sector.
