On 4th February 2026, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kaduna State University, celebrated the commissioning of the PANS-KASU Pharmacy Garden—a symbol of unity, sustainability, continuity, and visionary leadership.
On 4th February 2026, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kaduna State University (KASU) recorded a historic milestone as the PANS-KASU Pharmacy Garden was officially commissioned. This project represents far more than a landscaped space within the faculty; it stands as a lasting symbol of legacy, sustainability, unity, and the power of leadership continuity.
The Pharmacy Garden is a proud initiative of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS), KASU Chapter. The vision was first conceived and initiated through a fundraising drive during the 2022/2023 administration under the leadership of Usman Muhammad. Through strategic planning and collective effort, the foundation for the project was laid with the intention of creating a sustainable and meaningful space for the faculty.
The project was subsequently continued by the 2024/2025 administration led by Idris Suleiman, ensuring that the initiative did not lose momentum despite changes in leadership. This deliberate continuity demonstrated a shared commitment to institutional growth and long-term impact.
Under the leadership of the 7th Executive Council, led by Lukman Rabiu, the vision has now been fully realized. The commissioning marked the culmination of years of dedication, collaboration, and unwavering belief in the value of sustainable student-driven projects.
The Pharmacy Garden stands as a reminder that when leadership is built on vision and continuity, success is inevitable.
The association extended its deepest appreciation to its ever-supportive Grand Patron, Prof. Ahmed Tijjani Mora, whose guidance, mentorship, and steadfast commitment remained constant through successive administrations until the dream became a reality. His role provided stability and direction throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Special gratitude was also expressed to the family of the Late Pharm. Adamu Bako Dikko, whose sponsorship and support brought renewed life and strength to the initiative. The association is honoured to dedicate the Pharmacy Garden in memory of a true pioneer whose contributions to the profession continue to inspire generations.
The Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, was also sincerely appreciated for his immense support over the years, for fulfilling his promises, and for facilitating the successful realization of this remarkable project. His backing underscored the importance of institutional collaboration in achieving meaningful development.
The commissioning ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries and stakeholders, including:

- The Commissioner for Youth and Development, Kaduna State
