On Sunday, 20th April 2025 , the Executive Council of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), Bayero University Kano (BUK) Chapter, under the leadership of the President,  Adamu Suleiman Adamu (ASA), paid a courtesy visit to Pharm. Salma Yunusa Dangwani, the Kano State Coordinator of the Young Pharmacists Group (YPG ).


During the visit, the PANS-BUK delegation presented a  certificate of participation to Pharm. Salma in recognition of her attendance at the recently concluded PANS-BUK Symposium. She was also presented with a copy of her lunched  PANS-BUK magazine.


The delegation comprised, Adamu Suleiman Adamu  (PANS-BUK President), Comr. Murtala Saleh Ayuba  (Secretary General) Malam Umar Nasir Huzaifa ( Financial Secretary)



In her remarks, Pharm. Salma Dangwani commended the leadership of PANS-BUK for their proactive engagement and meaningful student-led initiatives. She assured the team of YPG’s readiness to  collaborate closely with PANS-BUK in future programs, aiming to build stronger professional ties and support systems for students.


She reminded students, especially those in the penultimate(500L) and final years(600L), about the upcoming YPG National Conference , set to hold in Kano, and encouraged maximum participation through early registration and active involvement.


Pharm. Salma also unveiled plans for an upcoming mentorship program , jointly organized by YPG in collaboration with Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Kano Chapter, aimed at guiding pharmacy students towards personal, academic, and professional excellence.


In a heartfelt message, she advised all PANSites to remain dedicated to their studies, resist distractions , and stay focused on their academic goals, emphasizing that consistency and commitment are crucial to becoming successful healthcare professionals.


She concluded with a prayer for all pharmacy students , particularly PANS BUK Students that recently concluded their mend-of-session examinations , wishing them outstanding results, academic breakthroughs, and a colorful journey ahead.
