The Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students' (PANS) National Secretariat - Anti-Drug Misuse and Abuse Program (ADMAP) is hosting a national bootcamp on drug abuse and misuse. The bootcamp is themed "What to Know About Drug Abuse/Misuse and Proper Advocacy."

The bootcamp will feature a variety of topics, including:

  • The role of pharmacists and pharmacy students in curbing drug abuse and misuse
  • Understanding the mindset of a typical abuser and effective ways to reach them
  • A practical guide on advocacy and public education for drug abuse prevention

The bootcamp will also feature a number of guest speakers, including:

  • Pharm Bayo, former ADMAP National Chairperson
  • Mr. Keji Hamilton, Director of the House of Joy Rehabilitation Center
  • Representatives from the World Federation Against Drugs

The bootcamp will be held on Saturday, 2025-01-12 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It will be held virtually via Zoom.
